From chapter one, The Inner Sanctum

Every person has an inner room. An inner chamber.

Most people don't know this, because no one ever tells them that they're allowed to have one.

This is the place reserved for communion with other parts of your Self. Where you review upcoming developmental upgrades and decisions. It's where you're meant to plan, to rehearse events before you bring them to the world.

The inner sanctum is not a place of secrecy or superiority. It's a place of containment.

It's where the most tender, unfinished, sacred parts of you are held so they can mature without interference.

Not everything in you is ready for public air.

Not everything needs feedback.

Not everything improves by being shared.

The inner sanctum is defined by conditions, not affection.

People can love you deeply and still not belong there.

This is not a moral judgment. It's a structural one.

Inner sanctum people share certain qualities:

They can hold your truth without correcting it.

They do not triangulate.

They don't extract information for entertainment, bonding, or power.

They can tolerate your intensity without trying to fix, minimize, or manage you.

They keep what is yours yours.
